Administration Experience

Academic Administration

As a tutor on two Year 1 courses, I am used to juggling multiple administrative deadlines for marking essays and exams, as well as handling seminar registration and liaising with the departmental level administrators to ensure that all deadlines are being met for the course.

I am the co-founder and co-organiser of the POWER OF THE BISHOP conference – my role includes developing a team of current PGRs to help run the conference in 2015, applying for funding grants, having an active role in the development of the theme, the call for papers and the advertising of the conference, and organizing meetings. I take an active role in the selection of papers, and the organizing of the programme, and work closely with Dr Angelo Silvestri and Dr Chris Dennis as a part of the PoB team.

I am a co-editor of the first volume of conference transactions, the lead editor being Prof. Peter R. Coss.

I was on the steering committee of the interdisciplinary Voice of Humanities Conference in 2010, working as part of the large conference team.
