History BA Year 1: Medieval Europe 1000 – 1350

Oct 2011-Jul 2014

I taught this Year 1 course for three years at Cardiff University, designing the seminar syllabus myself around the lecture list.

I put together primary sources based on my research, translated texts available in the library, and digitized sources in translation suitable for a Year 1 level, and gave instruction on how to handle the material.

I set seminar tasks and activities, marked diagnostic, formative and summative essays, as well as exam scripts.

History BA Year 1: The Making of the Modern World 1789 – 1970

Oct 2013-Jul 2014

I have taught this Year 1 course for one year at Cardiff University, working within the stricter format of the course but with the flexibility to plan my own seminar activities around the preset questions and texts.

I marked formative and summative essays, and exam scripts.
